Augma Biomaterials flagship novel product is premade composite graft formulation of biphasic calcium sulfate cement matrix with hydroxyapatite granules in a controlled particles size distribution.
Bond Apatite® is a cement-based, osteoconductive composite, mineral bone substitute that is used for bone reconstruction and regeneration in the maxillofacial and dental alveolar applications and is intended for filling, augmenting and reconstructing a broad range of bone defects.
Bond Apatite® is composed of 2 matrices which have different absorption coefficients and characteristics. The first matrix is a patented biphasic calcium sulfate which is absorbed and replaced completely with the patient’s own bone. The second matrix is a formula of hydroxyapatite granules which serves as a longer range space maintainer. The product guarantees minimal invasive surgical procedure, reduced treatment time and convenient manipulation of the graft material for the clinician and his patients., due to the product’s unique nature and the specially designed syringe. In less than a minute the entire graft placement and stabilization can be achieved, even in the most challenging situations. No membrane may be used with Bond Apatite® during the grafting procedures.

TESTIMONIALS
"I have been using Augma bone cement for over four years. The main reason I decided to use Augma was the fact that I have a bioactive material that I can safely and predictably bring to the surgical site and could expect bone. The delivery system and ease of use are an excellent benefit. Grafting large posterior sockets is done easily and FAST. I even use the cement as a membrane over a sinus window, or other large defects that needed support - In many applications no tacks or screws required. I highly recommend adding Augma bone cement to one's clinical grafting armamentarium."

Dr. MICHAEL KATZAP
"I have been working with bone graft substitutes for 20 years now, and I can finally say with confidence that I have found the perfect one. Augma's Bond Apatite is not only easy to work with, but its revolutionary bi-phasic calcium sulfate composition provides the results I expect from a bone graft material. It is truly a pleasure to be able to work with such a reliable bone graft substitute for my implant procedures; one that is available and manufactured right here in Israel."

Dr. Igal Balan
"I am practicing Implant dentistry since 1986. My practice is limited to implant and Oral rehabilitation. I performed thousands of implants and augmentation procedure in the past 30 years. I was exposed to Augma Biomaterials bone cement eight years ago when the company just started. I was very skeptical, and the product looked like it was too good to be true. After using it, I must admit that I was completely surprised by the simplicity of the material. I also found the outstanding reaction of the soft and hard tissue to the material. The outcome I got after three months was real bone. I also found it to be minimally invasive material to use. I used 3D Bond and Bond Apatite daily for all my bone grafting procedure, separately or simultaneously with implant placement. I also use it for lateral augmentation, ridge preservation, large 3D bone defects, sinus lifts, zygoma implants cases, periodontal defects, dehiscence and fenestration cases around natural tooth and implants. I highly recommend using Augma bone cement to any clinician who performs augmentation procedures. It is highly predictable, extremely simple to use and cost effective as well."

Dr. Dan Rosen
"I find Augma’s Bone Grafting Cement, Bond Apatite to be an ideal material for use in a wide range of osseous defects such as socket preservations alongside with periodontal disease that results in loss of bone. Bond Apatite is easy to use, readily adaptable to the bony architecture, and predictably reliable in bone growth without the use of additional membranes, PRFs, or autologous bone. I use it in my private practice at the hospital to augment the width of atrophic jaws. This is the only cement that can be used in the oral cavity to help grow bone in anticipation to place implants. The learning curve is very small, and the residents quickly adapt to the simplified protocols. Bond Apatite is an exciting product with great potential. It is user-friendly and can be used by anyone practicing dentistry from the GP to the oral surgeon."

Dr. Harry Dym
"I, the undersigned, am a maxillofacial surgeon for over 12 years. I hold the position of senior staff surgeon at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. In addition, I provide oral and maxillofacial surgical services at multiple dental clinics across the country. Through the years I have been extensively involved in the regeneration and osseous reconstruction field, as well as presenting multiple lectures on this topic in Israel and around the world. I have used a wide array of bone substitute products and membranes for the purpose of augmenting and reconstructing a wide range of complex and challenging osseous defects. I had employed a variety of techniques, that differed from one patient to another. On occasion, I would experience unpleasant failures and complications even with relatively simple surgical procedures. Recently, I have been introduced and exposed to a relatively new type of bone substitute, Bond Apatite from AugmaBio. I felt a favorable change in the selection of this bone substitute, as well as its application in a simple and rapid deployment technique. This product can fit any patient whom suffers from an osseous defect. Whether the defect is small or large, Bond Apatite can be used successfully. I was able to obtain adequate and promising regeneration without any failure at all. This benefits the patient as well as the doctor. It is without a doubt that I see in this bone substitute a bright future here and worldwide. Bond Apatite will bring forth a tremendous change to the concept of bone regeneration. Many more clinicians, like myself, were waiting for this significant change. With proper application and a short simple clinical protocol, Bond Apatite is an indispensable addition to the surgical armamentarium. Surgeons, as well as other dental clinicians with basic surgical expertise, will be able to arrive at a grafting solution with ease determination and tremendous satisfaction for both patient and doctor."

Dr. Guy Sharfi
"I would like to share with you my experience with new bone graft cement by Augma company-Bond Apatite®. I started using this product six months ago and now I am getting my first results. As with any new material, I used Bond Apatite® in the beginning with a small number of cases: four cases of lateral augmentations at different levels. In all of them, I had great success, clinically and radiographically. However, one of the cases even surprised me. The case involved placed implant in the inferior molar area 36 with large deficiency of the buccal plate, which required bone grafting and augmentation procedure. After placing the implant and decortication of the bone I augmented with Bond Apatite®. Since this case involved just a single implant and the quantity of the material’s syringe is 1 cc (there is still no smaller packaging), excess material was left in place. I removed some excess and with the rest, I covered the ridge and the head of the implant. In this particular case I didn’t use a membrane, however, I closed passively and hermetically the soft tissue. Reentry and implant exposure was performed after 4 months. In the radiography, before the exposure, I distinguished a radiopacity layer above the implant head. As well, while elevating the flap there was a respectable amount (1-2 mm height) of hard vital bone, that required certain effort from me in order to discover the head of the implant. In fact, I also got a vertical height of vital bone with good mechanical properties.
I will be glad to share with you additional interesting and surprising cases in the future"

Dr. Mark Shultsman
"After more than 17 years of using bone graft materials, I have to admit that the Bond Apatite® product is suitable for many indications, easy to use, packed in very comfortable delivery system (syringe), derives excellent results in very high predictability (when you use it right according to instructions), very friendly and in good price."
Dr. Yaakov Rafael
"3D Bond™ and Bond Apatite® are two new materials that open up new opportunities in the field of bone remodeling and additions. Easy to prepare, easy to apply & easy to use. Once you overcome the learning curve and you use it with the appropriate indications you'll get some amazing results and a very good bone quality, using a new material that gives you safety, reliability, and allows you to create new smiles, using the FUTURE! 3D Bond™ and Bond Apatite® allows you to work easier, faster, more relaxed. For me 3D Bond™ and Bond Apatite® means better results, easy handling and a happy me! Try it and you will love it!"

Dr. Jercan Nicolae
"For many years I perform augmentation procedures and I was used to granules bone substitute which gives good results with the existing limitations. Although it's difficult to change habits due to fear to fail, a few years ago I, fortunately, got the chance to experience 3D Bond™ and Bond Apatite® products which are bone graft substitutes based on cement. To my amazement, I found bone cement graft substitutes, convenient and simple to use, save time and give amazing results with very good bone quality. Of course, you need to use it with the appropriate indications. As with new things, there is a learning curve that must be overcome and I am convinced that the future in bone substitute and dental surgery goes towards bone cement graft substitutes due to the great benefits they present. "

Dr. Iaron Rabinovitch
"After many years of using a wide spectrum of bone graft materials, I have found a material that has all of the features required to necessary to carry out oral augmentation procedures, and that material is Augma Biomaterials “Bond Apatite”. The material is stable, easy to use, and works well with soft tissue. Today, I can safely say that Augma’s Bond Apatite is my first choice for oral augmentations."

Dr. Sharon Yanoshevski
"I have recently used both Bond Apatite® and 3D Bond™, and both are bone graft materials that produce amazing bone. Neither product leaves excess granules, and they both produce a result that feels like the patient's original bone. I have also used the 3D Bond™ as a membrane to close an open sinus lift and have gotten equally outstanding results. And of course, the service Augma provides is exemplary."

Dr. Uri Zilberman
"I have used many forms of graft materials. 3D bond is very easy to use. Patients love that it is made of calcium sulfate, the oldest bone replacement graft. Most importantly, as this is a biphasic calcium sulfate, it sets in the presence of both blood and saliva. The analysis of numerous cases shows that it predictably forms bone in many parts of the mouth and often doesn't even need a barrier. Because of those reasons and the cost savings over other graft and barrier combinations it has greatly increased patient accepting of bone grafting procedures."

Dr. Robert Horowitz
"I admit that in the beginning, I've got your materials with slight skepticism in light of so many addressing from other companies, however, due to your enthusiasm I decided to invest and try Augma’s bone graft material. During this year, more than ten cases have shown surprising and very good results either with vertical and horizontal bone building. The material is friendly and easy to use and is used routinely in our clinic. We are planning to include this bone graft cement in our becoming courses which suppose to be on the coming months. Thank you again for the privilege to use Augma’s products ."

Dr. Bernard Dahan
"Augma biomaterials' Bond Apatite and 3D Bond are used in my private practice, live surgical workshops and lecture/workshop presentation at various teaching venues. This graft material is packaged in an easy to use syringe. It is simple to use for socket grafts, sinus augmentation and restoring larger defects. The results are that as the bone graft is resorbed, it is replaced with regeneration of the patient’s own bone."

Dr. Dennis Smiler
“The ultimate goal for bone regeneration is vital to bone formation. Having used many grafting materials over the years, I have found 3D Bond™ as one of my favorite materials, giving an advantage in handling due to its cement properties and the ability to transfer rapidly to a vital bone. I have been using the material extensively in my everyday procedures with high satisfaction. Bond Apatite® is a recent improvement to the material which gives the user the ability to have a pre-mixed material for large defect reconstruction.”
